Thursday Happening in Aerts…

Today, we settled in more, stayed here in the dorms, and had many assemblies and meetings with our counties and our cities. We learned what it takes to create a bill and all the scholarships that we can get as Boys State graduates. We also enjoyed bowling, volleyball, and a few other activities as well. You could even see Aiden, who was elected as mayor of Aerts City, enjoying his time with the other boys bowling.

Wednesday Happening in Aerts…

Tuesday Happening in Aerts…

Hey there! Just wanted to share that today in the dorms we had a busy day with meetings and assemblies from our counties and cities. We learned about creating bills and available scholarships too. Plus, we had fun with bowling, volleyball, and other activities. Even saw Aiden, the new mayor of Aerts city, having a blast bowling with the boys!

Monday Happening in Aerts…

Aerts City had a phenomenonal second day. They listened to four amazing speakers and began the process of creating their city governments. They caucused with their parties, put up qualified candidates, gave compelling speeches and ultimately elected Aiden Craven to be their Mayor, Orrin Stowell as City Clerk, along with Jeremiah Olsen, Kyle Divine, Camden Harrison, Nathan Keappel, and David Wood as their City Council. Mayor Craven will make his appointments and by tomorrow morning Aerts City will be fully governed.

Sunday Happening in Aerts…

Aerts city had a great first day! Following check in the got comfortable in their doors and started getting to know each other. They then went to the Boy State Reception and heard speeches from Ninzel Rasmussen, Doug Case, and Governor Clayton Write.
